I believe black voters probably turned out and Tea Party voters stayed home

"We've done it, let's move on and go change Washington," Congressman-elect Brad Ashford told supporters Wednesday afternoon, celebrating his victory over Rep. Lee Terry.
Ashford opened by thanking Terry for his hard work and years of service. He went on to thank his family and campaign staff for their constant support.
"A new chapter begins," Ashford told the crowd, saying he would go to Washington and work to find non-partisan solutions to the problems facing our country.
