Paul calls Dem Senators 'Hillary's losers'
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/222999-paul-calls-dem-senators-hillarys-losers

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has branded losing Democratic Senate candidates "Hillary's losers."

In a post on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152609510486107.1073741829.54172246106&type=1), Paul posts pictures of Clinton together with Rep. Bruce Braley (Iowa), Michelle Nunn, Alison Lundergan Grimes, and Sens. Kay Hagan (N.C.), Mark Udall (Colo.) and Mark Pryor (Ark.).

Over each photo is the tag #Hillaryslosers.

Clinton had campaigned across the country for Democratic Senate candidates, and Paul is arguing their losses are a referendum on Clinton, a possible 2016 presidential rival.

"Today, voters sent a message to President Obama and Hillary Clinton, rejecting their policies and many of their candidates," the post says.

Exclusive–Rand Paul: Tuesday's Biggest 'Loser' Is Hillary Clinton
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/11/04/Exclusive-Rand-Paul-Tuesday-s-Biggest-Loser-Is-Hillary-Clinton

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said late Tuesday that in the wake of the Senate going Republican, the biggest loser is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Almost every candidate Clinton campaigned for lost. Those include Georgia’s Michelle Nunn, Iowa’s Bruce Braley, North Carolina’s Kay Hagan, and Kentucky’s Alison Lundergan Grimes.

"Somebody should ask Hillary Democrats why they got wiped out tonight. Clearly, Hillary is yesterday's news,” Paul said in an email to Breitbart News.

Paul’s campaign staff provided Breitbart News with four images of Clinton campaigning with Hagan, Grimes, Braley and Nunn—images that bear the hash tag “#HillarysLosers.”

Many of the candidates Paul, a likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate, campaigned for won their elections.

Paul’s team told Breitbart News that the senator wanted to make two major points with his new “Hillary’s Losers” theme. First off, he argues that Hillary's track record and surrogate record were soundly rejected in the 2014 elections. Secondly, and possibly as important to Paul as a potential 2016 presidential candidate, is to show once again that he isn't afraid to take a swipe at the Clintons, something he has done early and often in the past year.

He's trying to stir discontent in the Dem primary. He'd like them to dry up some of their war chest in a primary fight.

I'd be a little careful with this, though. It's a fun one-day poke, but it shouldn't become more than that. Remember, Rand has backed his share of losers as well. Backing losers still gains you political capital.

First he drives a wooden stake through the bloodsucking Clinton heart.

Then he does as much for the Bush family.

Exactly. People could just as easily point out the fact that Paul originally backed Brannon, who ended up as a loser. His father backed McDaniel, who also ended up as a loser that refused, for the longest time, to just go away. So for every so called Hillary loser, there's a lot more Paul-losers at every level. Remember that.

This is a very good thing for everyone who uses Hashtags. Just go do a quick Twitter search. Rand stirring up the Dem Primary is definitely to our advantage too. GOP primaries are a while from now so in the meantime, he can push Mitch McConnell to bring a vote for certain Senate bills and become a crucial element in Mitch's hopefully good job at Majority leader. After then, the focus can be on proving to be the best conservative.

Things such as:
#therevolutioncontinues
#randpaul2016
#hillaryslosers
#ConservativeRealism
#StandWithRand
#Conservatarian
#leavemealonecoalition

So on and so forth...Trust to everyone on RPF, these are to his benefit. The twitter thing is acknowledging he's in the 21st century, aware of it's power and he's willing to engage in it. He has to have all this built up for the social media strategy come 2016, I know y'all peep how deep Obama's social media game was in 2008. Hopefully those Silicon linkups he's made are gonna finesse him a couple apps, more ingenious hashtags and neat little ways to get the ground game going on the web because I'm telling you now, as a Millennial............it will make all the difference.

With that, Troll her all he wants, I say flame on. I support it! LOL

You think these candidates lost because of Clinton's support? Grimes would have lost anyway, so I doubt Clinton's support helped or hindered her in a state as red as Kentucky.

This was great, and perfectly timed. This is not the kind of thing Rand should be doing late in the general election campaign, but right now it fits quite well. Even Democrats are probably laughing at this behind the tears

Agreed. But I don't think Rand would have done it if he didn't think it was a strategically gainful tactic. He's chosen to try to get elected amidst a sea of corruption, ruthlessness, an Orwellian style media bias, and politicians that would eagerly do far worse if it helped their agenda. Very few of his peers deserve any courtesy or respect within this arena.

I don't much like it either, but on the other hand the electorate is pretty darn childish itself, and particularly the Primary electorate, which this stuff points to.

I think Rand fully intends to mock the process and the establishment to a degree, and create a bit of a three ring circus that is both amusing and accessible to the masses. There is an all-star wrestling mania component to this. This is the state of modern politics and Rand does not intend to get outdone. If you're in the establishment like 99% of the bureaucrats, you have to mind your manners and speak the prescribed talking points. Rand has the freedom to play outside those constraints. It's a potentially powerful tool, in my opinion.

They are generally nice to the staffers because they need their services. I am talking about the actual House Floor, where the Members congregate. Stuff like a Committee Chair tells you if you don't support their pet socialism project then they will refuse to bring your jobs bill up in the committee; whining like kids on the Floor, stamping people out because they don't like what the people are saying, and more. Way more. Legislators are just 8-year olds in adult bodies.

I disagree, he is making his campaign successful with this stuff. I love it.

Personally, I still say Hillary wont be running but The media has painted Hillary as inevitable dem candidate. Randal is mocking that assumption and at the same time demonstrating to GOP voters that he has what it takes to take her on. It is a good thing.
