Florida was supposed to change the way the South thinks about medical marijuana. In late July, a full 88 percent of the state supported legalizing medical cannabis, and in early October 67 percent supported Amendment 2 specifically

“What the hell happened?”
State Rep. Katie Edwards

88% supported it, then they put out a bunch of propaganda and put out a fraudulent poll showing that support was dropping and more people began to buy the propaganda and then.....diebolded....

There seems to be some difference of opinion (even before all votes are counted)

Medical marijuana amendment falls short of approval
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/politics/os-election-medical-pot-conservation-20141104-story.html

Medical marijuana amendment rejected
http://www.wtsp.com/story/news/politics/florida/2014/11/04/amendment-2-medical-marijuana/18496413/

No. Not rejected.. a couple %points from 60%,, but still a clear majority of voters in favor.
