Geez, looks like Rand will be hopping from one studio to the next tomorrow. "This Week" is about the only one he's skipping.

And Fox News Sunday. There are 5 major ones, unless you want to count C-SPAN and Telemundo (I don't).

Thank you. You are correct, Sir.

Wait, what? You mean there aren't any major ones on Animal Planet or the Cartoon Network?

Well, hell ... what's the use of those channels, then?

So, what happened?

Talked about Ebola, and then mentioned how he's campaigning for Republicans. 32 states. He also didn't deny it would be to his benefit if they get the majority, but he also mentioned he didn't know completely every detail on Ferguson but tied his response into the war on drugs and the unease in Ferguson and around the country.

^ the part at 15:00 is a direct shot at Christie, without naming him.

It could be because he still has a primary to win, but I think Rand needs to be more bold when addressing Candy's question about the Republican brand vs. the Republican product. The GOP doesn't just have a brand problem. Some of the product is bad too. Rand isn't going that far just yet but I hope he eventually does.

Who is that lady and why is she conducting a rather decent interview with Rand Paul? We should send her thank you emails before CNN cans her for not making Rand look bad.

I mean, I was actually waiting for her to ask about his views on the Civil Rights act, but it never came. Now, if it had been MSNBC . . . I shudder to think how the interview would have gone.

A very good performance from Rand.

Very nice. He's getting really good at these. He comes off looking smart, reasonable, relaxed, confident and likeable.

The topics and his answers were directed well at the CNN audience.

He did a great job redirecting the focus to the big picture behind each issue. It's like what Ron would do when they'd ask about a specific issue in the news and instead he'd address the root cause/solution.

Now that the GOP has the mandate, let's see them put Rand's big idea first on the agenda -- lower the corporate tax so all those offshore profits will come home at a lower rate to stimulate the US economy. (end of the video clip)

Fix the economy == 2016 on a silver platter.

economy, economy, economy.
