They should be providing some justification for each grade on the GOA website. Otherwise the grades are kind of meaningless.

Also it is complete BS if they are knocking candidates down in rating for the private property position. Goes to show they know very little about property rights and have a myopic fixation on guns. A property owner has 100% sovereignty and can prohibit anything on its premises that he wishes. If I say no shoes in the house, no shoes in the house or don't come in. Same exact thing with guns. And if you do come in with a gun against my wishes I have the full right to tell you to leave, and if necessary to remove you by force.

This is why I will never donate to NRA/GOA.

Point of clarification: GONH is not affiliated with GOA; it is the NRA state affiliate. I’ve received no score that I’m aware of from GOA, though I did return the candidate survey.
