Wow. I'm the only vote for Thunderclap Newman:

Call out the instigators
Because there's something in the air
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

I like Jesus Jones, but ya know the Beatles song will appeal to the older folks more, so I changed my mind. Its pretty upbeat and happy, too.

That Thunderclap song is perfect too. Which is better a really widely known song or a song that will be new and fresh to many people??? I think a marketing pro should make the final decision.

Honestly, Beatles kick ass. I think this also fits best with what's going on with the campaign and the country.

I realize "Revolution" appeals to the demographic here, but PLEASE consider ALL the people we want to support the good doctor when selecting a song. You already have rEVOLution on the side of the blimp.

i'd say The Restless Consumer by Neil Young... or perhaps Let's Impeach The President!

"Don't need no ad machine
Telling me what I need
Don't need no Madison Avenue War
Don't need no more boxes I can see"

"A hundred voices from a hundred lands
Need someone to listen
People are dying here and there
They don't see the world the way you do
There's no mission accomplished here
Just death to thousands

A hundred voices from a hundred lands
Cry out in unison

Don't need no more lies."

Heathen! No one can deny the greatness of the Beatles! Their music reaches across all divides.

I don't like the Beatles song very much. Since this is the Boston tea party, and they are British and part of the 'counter' revolution, I don't think this is a good choice in music.

Pick something American.

The Greatest Song that totally exemplifies everything about the Ron Paul Revolution is "The New World - Opening" by Jason Robert Brown, it's in his musical "Songs for a New World." JRB is a musical geniu.

"A new world crashes down like thunder
A new world charging through the air *cough* blimp *cough*
A new just beyond the mountain
Waiting thereeeeeeeee waiting THEREEEEEEEE!"

Maybe not the best theme song for the blimp, maybe so. Personally, though it's my Rpn Paul theme song.

The best inspirational Ron Paul video I've seen. Must see for all supporters:

"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"
He said
"Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?"
Because one day I leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade."

Royalties on those songs are going to be expensive.

Lets respect peoples property rights and not promote a for profit with other peoples hard works ie the musicians.

A slight wording revision to Revolution by The Beatles. Call the song Constitution.

Crazy about the constitution
Well you know
We just want to have it back
you tell me it's a revolution
Well you know
We all want to state the fact
And when you talk about destruction
Don't you know you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be alright
Alright Alright

You say you got a real solution
Well you know
we would love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well you know
It's already in our hands
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be alright
Alright Alright Alright

You say you'll change the constitution
Well you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well you know
You better free your mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be Alright
Alright Alright

star spangled banner is always classic.

Is there any reason in particular we must either use music from the 1970s or the 1770s only?

One of my favorites; uplifting, simple, fun. Appropriate title too :)

Im so glad that I know more than I knew then.
Gonna keep on tryin till I reach the highest ground.

Teachers,

1812 Overture?

I thought about that too. A group of unlikely, desperate Russians defeat off Napoleons grand armee. Similar to what we have to do, but then again, we're Americans...
