I prefer this site, there is less bias present in the questioning and it represents a better sample of social and political views: http://www.politicaltest.net/

This test is bullshit. There's no way I'm a leftist liberal.

If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.

^^^ Just answering this question AT ALL requires a collectivist mindset, and it won't let me leave the question blank. Can't take the test.

I matched the same spot as Hitler. Go figure.

HB needs to take this test so we can finally put a label on him.

There were a couple like that for me but I just picked what I thought was the least offensive. Here's where I landed..

Economic Left/Right: 5.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.90

I'm also a bit offended by this test. "Authoritarian" generally has a negative connotation that I don't appreciate. Gonna send the author of this test an email now telling him to change the label.

How are you more libertarian than me? I scored something like +5.5 and -3.3 last time I took it.

Political compass is a crappy test. I guess I can see why the death penalty is on there, even though I don't agree with it (Its unusual for an ancap perspective since the whole "expanding state power" bit is no longer relevant when you support having the family or community [possibly through a privately hired arbitrator] impose capital punishment when needed). But the spanking and abortion questions are just blatantly retarded. And there are other ones that are retarded to. If I want "my child's school to instill religious values" I'm more authoritarian. If someone else wants "secular" government schools, they are more libertarian?

I still hate this test. I prefer Bryan Caplan's even though obviously its biased, I scored a perfect 160 on that test.

There were a lot of stupid questions that had nothing to do with your view on actual governmental issues. Worldview stuff.

I didn't mind the questions. Wasn't it based more on worldview anyway? They separated the social from economic.

Anyway..I may have Marxist sympathies...eek

I'll take that other test tomorrow. I already know I'm secular.

I like this site but I won't lie some of the questions are worded in a confusing manner and about half of them I stayed neutral on. Regardless, here are my personal results:

Did the same for me. I just refreshed the page and it gave me the results. I disagreed with it though, it said I was 'communistic'.

It's gotta be better than the "angelatc test", though. No matter how you answer, you're still a leftist libtard.

I took this before and ended up in the liberal quadrant. The problem is that it doesn't focus on whether or not you actually think the government can solve issues, just that you acknowledge they exist.
