This is one of the stories I had predicted they would sit on until they were ready to take Rudy down. This and other attack stories were scheduled to run after he got the Nomination, and throw the election to Hillary. This is only the tip of the iceberg for the Attack Rudy ads. They need to shift the national support from Rudy to Huckabee in a hurry. Though from actual straw poll numbers, I don't think it really matters, has Rudy even won one?

Some bad timing on this story 'breaking'. If Rudy really falls out of it, that gives us a higher bar to victory as the other big names are going to eat up his support. Wish it would have come out after a few primaries went down to the wire with an even split of support for the big names, ah well.

Here is hoping he's got a 13% or so baseline of support that isn't gonna shake for nothing, God knows there's enough out there they could have used as an opportunity to drop him - there might be some sort of actual 'supporter' base that we can lock up in a dead vote for the early primaries.

I think the implications of Rudy and others being tied ot this stuff might get people to start thinking that Ron Paul is "not really a loon afterall".

I'm glad it was reposted because I never saw it the first time. The front page can cycle in about 10 minutes making pertinent information disappear.

This is serious info. If this info exists then there is obviously much more out there.
This is a giant catapult for Ron Paul's belief that as long as the victims of 9-11 aren't satisfied another investigation should be done.

When Giuliani, and presumably others, are hiding 9-11 skeletons it's no wonder they try to dismiss the thought as unpatriotic.

I agree that this could hurt Paul if Rudy's votes go to somebody else but it could also frustrate some of Rudy's supporters and rather than voting for somebody else they might just stay home on primary day. If this doesn't go beyond Olbermann, I actually doubt it will do much of anything to the race. I've seen many reports that seem like they should have a huge impact on people's views, ironically they don't seem to do anything. Then I hear about things that don't seem like they should matter at all and the effect is gigantic. For example, Romney thinking its ok to put a dog on top of a car should make people question how he would treat citizens. Instead, the one thing that seems to be tripping him up is his religion.

It doesn't help that Olbermann doesn't speak to the current Republican base either.

Personally I gauge the condition of the Republican primary on my parents. They are the "classic" voters and get their information in the quantity and form that most average people do. Incidentally, last night my dad (who at first was hoping for a Giuliani run and liked the idea) admitted last night that he doesn't think Giuliani has a snowballs chance in hell at winning even the primaries.

My dad is really pissed and waiting for the RNC to call soo he can tell them that he is supporting the party. His money and vote is going to Ron Paul.

Old Pop is pretty sharp, he didnt need any info from me to support Dr. Paul. Dad believes the party will do anything and everything they can to screw Paul over. He knows the party is run by fake conservatives, and says if it wasnt for Reagan we would be full fledge socialist already.
