. With the start of the state’s archery deer season looming, the Pennsylvania Game Commission advised hunters to anticipate police presence across Monroe and Pike counties as the manhunt for suspected killer Eric Matthew Frein continues.

“Hunters should use common sense and good judgment until this situation is resolved,” said Daniel Figured, director of the Game Commission’s Northeast Region. “Our advice is to avoid wooded areas with obvious police activity and use extreme caution when afield, especially in Monroe and Pike counties.”

Thank goodness. I know many people who harvest a good chunk of their annual protein during season. I have seen calls for a closure of the season in other news stories.

I wouldn't advocate being in that region with so much as a sheathed knife visible.

That's what I was thinking. Bar a person from their home-- not too bad. Mess with deer season (that's like Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter to the men in my family) and you got a war.

Oh yeah. They close schools the first day of hunting season where I used to live in PA.

So it's not just cop hating me, it's the PA state government saying the same thing.

The cops are the threat here, not Eric Frein.

In order to not disrupt deer season, I suggest the police dress in camo to look like deer.
