You are wrong. Reruns of that show were still in regular syndication well into the late 80's maybe even 90's.

Are you kidding? I grew up on Nick@Nite and spent my insomniac early 20s watching Roseanne re-runs (Darlene ruled) in the middle of the night on TV LAND. I'm well aware the Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days and Bewitched and Mork and Mindy and Dick Van Dyke and I Love Lucy and Gilligan's Island, etc.

Re-runs and the Internet keep these shows alive. Hell, my younger sister is a fan of FULL HOUSE and BOY MEETS WORLD. She wasn't even born when Full House aired.
