One of the bullets on RP's Health Freedom Slim-Jim says "Giving doctors the freedom to collectively negotiate with insurance companies and drive down the cost of medical care."
Question is: what specific regulatory impediments exist that prevent doctors from doing this today?
NOTE: Emphasis on *regulatory* impediments. I'm not interested in arguments of pragmatism.
