Rand Paul was just in New Hampshire, praising everything he could find (except Democrats) :D That included praising the Free State Project (http://old.freestateproject.org/intro/ron_paul). If you click on the blog post, the included links work.

Rand Paul recently spent a couple days in New Hampshire, attending and speaking at various events. He was the headliner at the New Hampshire Republican Party Unity Breakfast, a rally at the largest university in the state, and a Generation Opportunity event in Manchester. At the GenOpp event, Rand was asked about the Free State Project. Needless to say, Rand’s answer was friendly. He associated the Free State Project with freedom and liberty, saying that was a good thing. The room cheered his answer. Then he made a joke about maybe some free staters being in the room. Rand’s father, Ron Paul, endorsed the Free State Project and event spoke at events put on by the Free State Project.

Rand Paul speaks about the Free State Project as Evan Feinberg, the Generation Opportunity President, scans the excited crowd.

A couple days after Rand left New Hampshire, a new CNN poll about the 2016 New Hampshire Republican Primary came out. The poll shows Rand leading his nearest Republican competitor by 50%. He leads the Republican field with Independents by over 100%. Rand also leads the field with conservatives and people that attended college.

Marilinda Garcia, a Congressional candidate endorsed by both Justin Amash and Ted Cruz, also spoke at the GenOpp event in Manchester for Rand Paul.

She's not that good. She's a bit hawkish

DC conservatives are lining up left and right to support her. She wasn't the most pro-liberty candidate in the Republican primary race, but she is better than the average Republican in Congress. Club for Growth, New Hampshire Firearms Coalition (a hardcore gun group), the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire and the group that puts on CPAC all support her. They all supported her, before she even won the primary.

She has voted the wrong way on marijuana for years in Concord, but this year she finally voted to decriminalize marijuana. I hope it wasn't a mistake.

She is a bit hawkish. I don't know how much as that type of stuff almost never comes up for a vote in the NH House. My guess is, she would be less hawkish then Ted Cruz but?

She is also not as conservative as Tom Tancredo, Mitt Romney or Pat Buchanan on illegal immigration. That might upset some of the paleocons here.
