Commanders will NEVER tell you they are ready to withdraw! That's something you have to tell them.

From their perspective, if you ask them, "will there be peace and happiness if we leave?" There's no way they could ever say yes. Hell, we can't even ensure peace in our own country. It's like asking the local police chief to give up his MRAP. He will say it puts his officers and the public at risk. Because the minute some future hypothetical event may happen where an MRAP could have proven useful, he would be open to the backlash.

Obama is weak. If you're going to withdraw, (which I don't believe we did, anyway), you have to be ready to stand up to the criticism of future events. This idea that going in and out, bombing these guys for awhile, then bombing those guys for awhile, and handing out money to all sides is going to create a positive outcome is ludicrous.

We just walked in, we can just walk out. Sorry 'bout the mess. Hope you can figure it out. But we're going to stop making it worse.

Local radio was spewing this same propaganda this morning. Could not stomach to listen to it today. Morning show was rearranged so the war hawk spews his garbage earlier on...

ETA Interestingly enough just a day or two ago he was being quite vocal about being anti-war (the radio host) which I found a peculiar speech because folks in this area know this host and his history. The whole speech was odd and then segued into a discussion on needing to deal with the IS whatever it is today problem head on.

Can someone make a similar graphic of his predictions of our invasion being met with cheers and flowers?

The "withdrawal" from Iraq was actually signed and sealed before Obama took office. From Wikipedia:

"[I]n 2008 George W. Bush signed the U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. It included a deadline of 31 December 2011, before which "all the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory".The last U.S. troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, in accordance with this agreement."

So it was Dubya that arranged the withdrawal from Iraq. But don't expect to be reminded of that by the MSM.

If we wanted oil, military bases and stop terrorism, why not invade the saudis?

If this is about oil... gas is still expensive in commiefornia.

That would make too much sense. Besides, how will Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and the other death merchants in the MIC make money if Obama didn't do what you said.
