he doesn't seem that popular by his myspace numbers, he's not that bad, the Knight of Liberty aremuch better though :)

I'm more of a metal fan myself but this is good news.

Has there been any attempts to get an endorsement from Immortal Technique?

... might not be the best idea, what do you think Alex?

Immortal Technique would be GREAT endorsement, that guy is an absolute lyrical genius. He talks lots of politics in most of his songs, someone try to get in contact with him!

it wouldn't be a bad endorsement, his fans are pretty active and I doubt anyone who wouldn't like him even knows who he is.

I would love to get a Chuck D endorsement, he'd love Ron Paul for his stance on the Drug War, actually most rappers would, but Chuck D has credibility.

Metal is different breed, most metal heads tend to just sort compalin without talking politics.

Ted Nugent I think is the only Metal person with Political weight, but I'm pretty sure he'd love to bomb most of the middle east

For Country, a Dixie Chicks endrosement isn't out of the question

Punk Music - this is tough, but luckily a lot of the more anarchy oriented bands will like Paul. I think it's possible to get someone like Fat Mike or Jello Biafra, though they'd back Kucinich right now.

Bands on Tooth and Nail are good endrosements if Huckabee hasn't gotten to them first.

Dave Mustaine likes Alex Jones so I bet that would be possible to get him to join the Revolution.

So... how many of these musicians that support Ron Paul want to stop by the Tea Party and entertain us for freedom? :) And who wants to make it happen? I'm not at all in the new music scene (surviving on old albums till the election is over), so I'm clueless.

Immortal Technique would never endorse a libertarian.

Phantom Planet,

have a blog about RP on their Myspace.

You may recognize them by the song 'California' featured in the OC.

jello biafra is often a green party candidate. probably not the guy you want to go to for a rp endorsement
