Title sounds sensationalist, but it might be even more bizarre than the title.

Figures that it's from Argentina, whose leaders are crying about how anarcho-capitalism is running the world and making things difficult for them (http://blog.panampost.com/daniel-duarte/2014/08/11/the-anarcho-capitalism-scapegoat-if-only-kirchner-understood-it/).

You know, I've been in a long-debated discussion about this very thing. There are those that say that technology is restricting liberty at a greater pace because of its ability to enhance the surveillance state. I've been taking the opposing view that we are approaching a time where the ubiquity of these technologies will enhance our liberty.

Originally, I was on the opposite side of this argument, too. But I've been starting to become much more positive about it.

Well sure. It all boils down to who owns and controls the data. If you own and control the data it enhances liberty. If the government owns and controls the data, it enhances tyranny. It's really as simple as that.

it can't happen here. Not in The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. it's just not possible. And if it ever does happen, by got that fella deserved it. Hell, he did it to himself when he used his freedom without our permission.
