“This message is addressed to you, oh Vladimir Putin. These are your aircraft which you sent to Bashar, and with the help of Allah we will send them back to you. Remember this. And with the permission of Allah we will liberate Chechnya and all the Caucasus. The Islamic State exists and it will exist and it will expand with the help of Allah. Your throne is already shaking. It is in danger and it will collapse when we get to you. We are on the way with Allah’s permission.”

Good. Let him attempt to go to war with an ideology and let the maniacs, along with those with rightful (but maybe misguided) grievances, find a new target to blow back against. Let Putin enter the fray, and we exit. If Putin does act militarily against them, then it would be a good time for America to sneak out of there and be done with it.

Then again... Watch Americans get news about how we should support certain other "moderate rebels" fighting against Putin. Aka resume funding for ISIS...haha

Yes, if ISIS and Putin go all in against each other, McCain and Graham will consider themselves vindicated. And we will probably end up funding them, only to face them again in another 3-5 years.

Putin won't do anything. Only a fool would mess with the middle east when Nato is gathering at their doorstep. Besides, according to TC and some of the part time non-interventionists here, a few air strikes and ISIS will be gone. America got this Mr. Putin!

Putin won't bite that hook. At the moment he's laying the smaketh down upon global economic infrastructure with the BRICS nations. I imagine he'll flip them the bird and chuckle a bit.

I don't think there is any way to avoid the red faces that some of our so called representative ones have envited upon themselves by way of nothing but pure geo-political amateurism.

The world has been united in stealing oil from islamic people for quite some time really. Or is that not what you meant?

You steal our wealth and oil at paltry prices because of your international influence and military threats.
This theft is indeed the biggest theft ever witnessed by mankind in the history of the world.

Putin won't bite that hook.

Probably not, but we aren't helping matters by sending troops to the Ukraine. If we piss him off enough, it's possible that Putin could play with the bait a little to draw the US out into a wider conflict and then step back and refocus on the Ukraine, reason being simply to put the Ukraine lower on American priorities list. It's the smart move and Putin is not a dumb man.

At the moment he's laying the smaketh down upon global economic infrastructure with the BRICS nations. I imagine he'll flip them the bird and chuckle a bit.

BRICS is a parallel drama unfolding that will encourage more bold action from Russia that it was possible in the days of the dollar hegemony. The stronger BRICS comes to resolution, the more strongly Russia and China will behave. We will have real changes in our trading partners Brazil and India when they become the rich and we become the poor. A whole other matter America could be protected from today but for sheer stupidity.

I don't think there is any way to avoid the red faces that some of our so called representative ones have envited upon themselves by way of nothing but pure geo-political amateurism.

Oh yes, justice will always balance in the end. It is an ontological imperative. For some it will be a little earlier, for others it will be a little later; but just as much as the sans-intervention destiny of the physical universe is heat death, the scales of justice are balanced as a force arising from existence itself. Some call it karma, our Lord taught about the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Justice can and will finish balancing after the soul has died. Which Is the point at which it becomes invisible to most, and just seems to contribute to the general malaise of the human race.

It's like the corrupt man reaping immediately what he has sown, but neither him nor anybody else remembers him having sown it, so they reap the corruption and cry out "why??" Stealing with the left hand while swearing integrity with the right, and thinking nothing wrong with that.

They reap it now, they reap it in a few years, or the reap it in the Judgement. Given a moments omniscience, I believe that every soul would rather reap the pain in this life than going into the next, because then it will be so much more magnified...

Wanting to see the bad people utterly humiliated in this life is actually a kindness to them...on the eternal scale of things. :)

I think the answer to this whole mess is becoming clear.

We need to borrow money from China, and give it to Russia in the form of foreign aid and military equipment. Russia will wipe out ISIS in a matter of weeks. Then the children and family of ISIS members will join the Mexican cartels and gather a massive army inside our southern border. Meanwhile, in appreciation for Russia doing our dirty work, we continue to fund them and actually increase their funding, because you know... we do that. In turn, Russia, not content with Ukraine, rolls over Eastern Europe. Russia gets hooked on our foreign aid so much that they can't get enough of our dollars. China starts to go bankrupt because they run out of money to give us, and we ain't paying nothing back. China gets worried about their Russian border and increased tension, so they hire the Mexi-IS army to steal our gold reserves to fund their defense. When they find the reserves are empty, China folds to Russia. The entire Asian continent now belongs to Russia, but their empire has expanded too fast and since they can no longer get US dollars (since our currency crashed after that whole "no gold reserves" fiasco) Russia has to turn to the EU for support. Finding that the whole EU was built on a house of cards, they quickly discover there is nowhere else to turn. The Mexi-IS army sees that the US is in a worse than they could ever imagine and can't do any more damage, so they just give up and open up convenience stores. So, in just a few short years, the US has defeated Russia, China, the Cartels, the EU, and ISIS. Beautiful. And you guys think intervention doesn't work.

If Reagan can do it, why can't SWC drone do same?

That pic is of Reagan meeting with the anti-Russian Mujahdeen not the Taliban. That Reagan quote was about the contras not the Mujahdeen or the Taliban, which didn't even exist at the time FYI.

Mr Clancy, is that you? ;)

What I do not understand is why cant Syria and Russia form an internationally recognized partnership to fight ISIS the way Iraq and US are doing now. Its definitely in Russia's interest to prevent any take over of Syria by the western supported terrorists. I mean, everybody and their dog now agree ISIS are evil and should be eliminated. My guess is the disapproval rating of ISIS is north of 100% and another 99%+ that someone should attack and destroy them.

They get ahead of the US and start working on the problem and the US cannot say anything about it. I really hope Russia takes on this task and save anti interventionist pols from having to make a very tough decision

Yes, and even though we trained Bin Laden, it doesn't count because there was no Al Qaeda back then. Gotcha! Do you work for FOX news? Your spin skills are strong!

ISIS continues to function as an arm of the CIA/Saudi intelligence - no surprise there.

OK, but point was that Reagan supported violent Jihadis against Russia.. what would be big deal if SWC droneking did the same under the "rinse repeat rinse" doctrine?

History tends to repeat itself, so do relevant ironies.

Mujahdeen is same as Jihadis according to dictionary even if talibans were next gen of earlier jihadis fighting commie infidels.
