Just another "oopsie" killing of a mundane -- I'm sure the guy they were shooting at will be charged for her death.

I'm sure she's not truly "innocent" though -- she might have been charged with shoplifting 7 years ago for all we know ...

ORLANDO, Fla. —An innocent woman inside an Orlando bar was struck and killed by a police officer's stray bullet early Tuesday morning,

Police said they were called to a report of a man shooting a gun at Vixen Bar on South Orange Avenue just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect, identified as Kody Roach, had been kicked out of the bar and was trying to get back in with a gun in tow, according to witnesses.

Three officers responded, and officers Jeff Angel and Eduardo Sanguino shot at Roach, police said.

"What I saw was an officer fly by (and) I didn't really know why. I was not really paying attention and then I heard about six or seven gunshots and when I was able to figure out what happened there was a man that was already on the floor," said a witness.

Maria Fernanda Godinez Castillo, 22, a patron at the bar, was killed by Sanguino's bullet.

"We join her friends and family as they mourn her loss," Mina said.

Police said Roach was taken to the hospital with several gunshot wounds and was listed in stable condition. He is charged with carrying a concealed firearm, and other charges including felony murder are pending.

Another officer, Frank Nunez, a 19-year veteran, was hit in the knee and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is recovering at home. It is not known who shot him.

HELEN, Ga. —
Visitors in the north Georgia town of Helen say they're thinking twice about coming back following a weekend deadly shooting that left a tourist dead.

Police said a stray bullet came from a small-caliber handgun carried by a 53-year-old man from Jasper, Ga. The gun accidentally discharged, and the bullet traveled across Helen’s tourist-laden Main Street and struck 68-year-old May Araim, of Houston, Texas, in the side.

Suspect Arrested.

How many freeways are you gonna hold up and thirteen gun salutes are you gonna give her?

Found this on another forum, don't know how accurate it is -- add one more to the total :

At least 697 people have been killed by U.S. police since January 1, 2014.

At least 1446 have been killed by police since May 1, 2013.

At least 1087 were killed by police from May 1, 2013 - May 1, 2014.
