I only post this story for the comments, which are surprisingly refreshing.

Oh sure there are plenty of clovers, but not as many as I expected.

CANTERBURY, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire State Police have accused a motorcyclist of traveling over 130 mph in a 70 mph speed zone on Interstate 93.

State police aircraft clocked the speed at 134 mph in the southbound lane in Canterbury at about 11 a.m. Monday and saw that it traveled in the breakdown lane and cut between lanes of traffic, passing vehicles. At times, the aircraft tracked the vehicle doing between 150 and 180 mph.

Police said the motorcycle pulled in behind a business on North Main Street in Concord, and troopers responded. They charged 31-year-old Daniel Thibeault of Swansea, Mass., with reckless conduct, disobeying an officer and driving after suspension. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.

Who did he harm?

He's lucky he didn't harm himself... that's practically begging for some police brutality.

gotta take the other view on this. These morons on these crotch rockets are endangering people. If you think otherwise then i have to disagree with the premise that its ok to do this shit on a bike, especially when these asswipes do it in groups...

This shit they do on a bike is not a protected right....

It's kind of like pointing a loaded gun at people. No harm no foul right? Except, well, no one really likes having a gun pointed at them.

So yeah, some nut doing 130 on a bike isn't hurting anyone . . . . so long as he doesn't crash. Let's say 50 other people decide that because one guy does it, they can too.

Freedom!

90% of the arrogant pricks on the road are cops. The other 10% ride crotch rockets.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. It's reckless. Especially in the city there.

Now I do like me some speed but those kinds of speeds are best left for moonlit desert cruising.

Same argument is used against "drunken driving." Some can handle some drinking and still drive fine. Others can fly like a bat out of hell....and do fine.

It's not safe, true, but more importantly it's super illegal. This isn't Nam, there's rules.

I hate drivers that weave around traffic, especially when they dont use their turn signals a few seconds prior to changing. It makes everyone at risk to getting into an accident.
