More stupid violence from the great escalators . Of course, they were just "doin' their jobs."

And one of the boys was injured because he "ran into" a SWAT member's weapon ...

Family Says SWAT Team Roughed Up Children

Friday, Aug 8, 2014 • Updated at 9:28 PM EDT

A Miami family says it’s outraged and wants answers after a 13-year-old and 12-year-old were left “bloodied, bruised, and traumatized” after the home they were staying in was raided by SWAT.

Last Thursday, Miami Police’s SWAT stormed the Coconut Grove home around 11 a.m. with a narctoics warrant. The only people inside were two 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old. The first person SWAT encountered was McClendon’s 13-year-old nephew in the kitchen.

“They tell him ‘GET DOWN. GET DOWN. GET DOWN.’ He’s looking for a spot to get down at; they hit him on top of the head with their rifles,” said the father of two of the children, Bobby McClendon. “It’s kind of strange how they would be so aggressive to children who aren’t aggressive.”

The next person police found was 12-year-old Aaron McClendon. He was sleeping in the back room when he says he was forced out and then was punched in the eye.

According to Bobby McClendon, officers went to the wrong house because the address on the warrant states 3744 Williams Avenue and the home that was raided was at 3844 Thomas Avenue. That point is disputed by Miami Police.

“This was the right house,” said Major Delrish Moss. “Not only was it the right house, but a gun was seized and illegal narcotics taken from the location.”

Moss added that it was the right house, but the wrong address.

Moss said that in all of the chaos of the raid, the 13-year-old was injured when he “ran into an officers weapons.” Moss couldn’t say how McClendon’s son was hurt.

“A lot happened there,” Moss aid. “We’re trying to see if the force that was used, who used force, what force was used, and why. The police officers went in to do their jobs. If they did it the wrong way, the appropriate punishment will be dealt.”

End the war on drugs NOW! This is beyond insanity anymore.

How many more innocent people are going to get caught up in the crossfire?

And he ran into the officers fist with his eye.

If this were a war then every cop would be in fear for their life as soon as they left the green zone. It is just a massacre with the coinciding abuse.

Justice will not be found in their courts.

It's lucky the kid didn't "run into" the officers bullets instead of just his gun...

Just like all the unnecessary dog shootings, the reason is because they can and because it's fun -- and it's not like anyone is ever going to stop them.

Apparently, after beating up two children, SWAT wanted more, so they began smashing up the place.

“They broke every single flat screen TV, they broke the play station 4, they broke every single picture frame for whatever reason…..Every single thing they could possibly break, they broke,” said Mclendon.

Score another point for the good guys. If you don't want your children bashed over the head, either don't break the law or teach your kids how to properly obey commands from police. Pretty simple.

This is the parent's fault for leaving the kids home alone in a house with drugs. Lucky the police got there before the kids found it!

Or get out of the war zone.

Second, police response to the law in question. A SWAT team is like a military unit. You can moan all you want about the militarization of the police and all of that but your tears will not change a thing.

Get used to that theme, BTW.

When I was on SWAT our view is that "We will always win....even if we have to burn down your entire house by bombing it....we will win". Period.

For now. AmerKa is their green zone. I know everyone of them and where they live within 15 miles of my house. They park their cars in the driveway.

That 12 and 13 year old did this to themselves.

Next time stop sleeping during summer vacation and you won't RUN INTO a weapon. Crazy kids these days...Running into fists...Slamming themselves onto the floor....running into weapons...

We all know...Someone RUNNING toward a cop, always ends in the person running right into the weapon....Because cops show so much restraint, it's not like they fear for their safety when someone is running toward them...Cops dont shoot when someone runs toward them...they just let the people run into their weapon...That report sounds so accurate. I know 12 year olds generally run toward weapons when a SWAT team blasts through their home, so I don't know why anyone would question the police report.

Josh Winkler, 30, rushed out of an apartment behind another victim who was bleeding profusely from the neck and covered in blood, when deputies fired on both men....

The lesson of today is.....Being a hostage..You might get shot by police....As they defend you and spray you with bullets. They were either defending you...or confused you were running toward them and they feared for their safety.

Noted......running toward cops you end up running into their bullets...First time we've heard of someone running into their weapon.
