Good job, Houston.

It's funny, the day Tom Woods did an interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOlUawvaGkA) with a guy from the Tiny House Movement, I started watching other Youtubes on it. Must've killed three hours on it. It's fascinating stuff. Anyway, Tom's youtube was on the first page of Youtube's results--because Youtube seems to integrate the day's posts into the overall results. Fondly enough, this Reason video was released the same day and was also on the front page of results. I begrudgingly watched it. It's frighteningly scary how zoning took over this country. But that's how central planning spreads, like a cancer. You see it among Western countries with just about everything these days.

Watching the beginning of that tube, the narrator said people are flocking to DC (im paraphrasing here). The first thing that came to mind was "steal it and they will come". That whole town is built on stolen loot.

Can't let people have affordable housing just like we can't let them have affordable healthcare. That would make the bankers unhappy.

I'll say this: The DOT will fight you tooth and nail if you want to add another driveway to the highway. I know this from family experience. We had to get the state rep. to pull strings.

I was a little confused because the video says only one city without zoning laws; then names Houston and goes on to mention a city named Victoria in Texas. Which one is it? Or did I misunderstand?
