It airs at 10a here, but I have to be at work at 11a, so unless he's on within the first 45 minutes (doubtful), I'm gonna miss it. This better be YouTube'd. :)

On one hand, it sucks that they always put Paul at the end of the shows; at the same time, it's awesome that our hardcore-ness is influencing the way they schedule their programs (it seems that way, at least).

JPFromTally

I like Dodd, BUT:

Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut: Opposes making Bush tax cuts permanent. Favors modifying estate tax; voted against eliminating it or raising exclusion to $5 million. Voted against balanced-budget amendment.

I also like Biden, BUT:

Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware: Favors eliminating Bush tax cut on people making more than $1 million a year. Voted against repealing the alternative minimum tax. Voted against raising estate tax exemption to $5 million. Voted against extending tax cuts on capital gains and dividends. Voted for increased tax deductions for college tuition.

That was Ron Paul's best interview yet for MSM, just watched it live. MSM still had their way however, with careful editing they removed McCain's boos and instead shifted the focus to the boos that Paul received.

Let Toobin choke on the mentioned figures of $10.4 million already raised and RP's prediction of 14 or 15 mil by the end of the quarter.

Though of course 14-15 mil is a very conservative estimate. :D

Thanks to everybody, because I didn't know there was a live audio link on the site and was able to catch most of the interview.

Since Ron Paul said that they might even get up to $14 or $15 million, I guess the goal should be to go even beyond that. With 12/16 that should be easy.

Ooh, American commercials. Nice, haven't heard those in ages. "Huge factory direct savings." "Millions of Americans use Head-On." Ha!

That was so great, Wolf Blitzer gave Ron lots of room to talk.

Ron corrected him and told him we have raised $10.4 million this quarter, said we may hit $15 million.

He also mentioned that December 16th is coming soon! I love it.

They also showed that Ron is now polling at 7% in Iowa.:D I'm very happy. Thank you CNN.

I don't see why people are saying that it was a great interview. Dr. Paul answered the questions nicely as usual, but it's still sickening to see biased questions constantly being asked. For example, Wolf asks Dr. Paul to respond to McCain's hitler comment and plays the clip of McCain speaking, but the clip has all the boo's edited out! And then later, implies that the audience was booing at Dr. Paul! Then he undershoot's the fundraising done by 2 million by asking RP if he raised 8-9 million total. RP had to slap that down. Comparing the questions he asked Huckabee, he asked much more softball questions to him than to RP. It's ridiculous.

I thought it was good exposure for Ron Paul.

Don't worry about the poll numbers showed. I think this can benefit Paul. We are strong supporters, other candidates voters might assume that with a double digit lead they don't have to show up, we know that every single vote counts.

Combine a big 16th and a good showing in the primaries will really give some credence to the campaign.

All this stuff is great but if the campaign falls apart, what is the point? It seems we are having some trouble getting some states to put RP on the ballot. I am trying to find out exactly where we stand on this. But apparently McHugh dropped the ball and offended some grassroots supporters that have had alot to do with getting RP on the ballot.

Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in detail at www.spp.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. that is exactly what I would put on my anti american website as well...

Just think about all the bills and legislation that comes out in favor of one thing but completely was for the agenda of something else. The government has been lying for a long time and I wouldn't put it past them to put something like this on a website that is an obvious front for what is really going on.

Ooo, he nailed that second response to McCain. Good stuff. I'd really love to hear him say something like,

"Just think logically about it -- what would be more likely to motivate a person to attack us: The fact that we're rich and free, or the fact that one of our bombs has killed a close relative or friend of theirs, and they're angry over the continual occupation of their country? The overwhelming majority of the people we fight in Iraq would not be fighting us if we had not invaded their country, so the idea that, 'We fight them over there so we won't have to fight them here' is disingenuous. The overwhelming majority of these people do not have the means nor the desire to hop on a plane and fly here. Rather, they are fighting for control of their own country. We are the reason for the violence. This is proven, because we have seen that when we cede control of certain areas back to the Iraqis, the violence ends. I say, let's cede the whole country back, and end this immoral occupation of a sovereign country."

We need to harp on this idea that they attack us because of our freedoms, because it's ridiculous, and anyone who thinks for a couple minutes honestly about what motivates people will see that it's hogwash.

Looking forward to part 2 ...

I scratch my head about that one all of the time. I just don't get it. Makes me suspicious that he is just a media pawn.

When I was undecided and before I was a die hard Ron Paul Fanatic, I was leaning to tancredo or huck because I was totally uninformed and not involved in the political process. Listening to Beck he was favorable to huck and even at one time to rudy (although I was never for rudy).

That was a really good interview. One of the best he's had in awhile. He was clear, articulate, and got his points across because he was given a bit longer to respond to each question.

It's amazing how much of a difference 10 minutes makes vs. 2-5 minutes in a Ron Paul interview.

Man what a great plug for the TeaParty!

I loved how he said "We MAY be looking at as much as 14 or 15 million this quarter... which we are simply amazed about." Ron is so smart keeping expectations low while projecting that this is a hopeful estimate. We have got to blow everyone away on the 16th, if we get Ron to $20 million this quarter it is going to shake the foundations of our corrupt political system.
