3 Justin Amash allies running for Michigan state House

Drive around the 86th District and you’ll see the signs side-by-side - one for state House hopeful Angela Rigas right next to one for U.S. Rep. Justin Amash.

When Keith Allard knocks on doors to tout his campaign in the 76th District, he hands out flyers for Amash.

Gabe Hudson tweeted that he’s “the only 72nd District candidate to proudly support Amash.”

These “liberty-minded” Republicans, all philosophically aligned with Amash, are running for GOP state House nominations against candidates who maintain they have more pragmatic views.

Michigan and Washington state are both surprisingly strong with liberty candidates and fellow travelers this year. If even 1/3 of them get elected, that is a huge step forward.
