Hey Bill, you're kinda late to the party. But better late than never.

You know things are bad in America if a donk like Maher notices, much less speaks out.

Did he quit slurping the spunk long enough to actually look up at who he was kneeling in front of?

There is no country on earth where citizens are more likely to experience the “midnight knock” than the United States of America. - Will Grigg

I'm surprised he's not admiring his work.:D

Actually I'll just post my retraction the same time I post my little joke. We all have no one to blame for ourselves from letting the central banking system we have get out of hand like we did.

Also I'll just mention now that many people may come to the defense of central banking for various reasons. The thing you need to keep in mind is that there is good and bad in everything. People can take about anything and do miraculous work and on another day turn the anything into a weapon of the evilest intent.

After hanging around Fark (http://www.fark.com/) I can see now I could never be a good comedian. Or even fair to middlin with the funny. So much of the good stuff crosses the line of honesty. The best stuff often guarantees you a special place in hell.

I wish he had chosen a better topic to focus on than the reaction to the Boston bombing -- that's a no-win topic because few people can see why that was poorly handled, and why it was unconstitutional.

However, talking about a two-year old being flash-banged in his crib, or a teenager getting shot for holding a Wii controller, that might get some people to thinking.

Or the cops shooting dogs thing. That seems to be the main thing that's waking people up somewhat -- although many of those people still can't see that its just part of a much bigger problem -- policing in general. You'll see them say things like "oh, I'm normally a big fan of the police, I just wish they wouldn't shoot dogs." Focusing on that one issue that concerns them, while ignoring all the other wrongdoing.

"They should really pass a law that says cops can't shoot dogs."
