A bit confused

I have a question about this project. I have seen a few different places that say 350,000 for the blimp has been raised ( http://nyletterpress.wordpress.com/2007/11/28/the-ron-paul-blimp-soon-to-be-airborne/ ) yet on the actual ( http://www.ronpaulblimp.com/ ) website it is saying 16K. So whats is up with this because I am having a hard time figuring this out.

Also, on the ntletterpress website note the update.
"11.30.07: At Ron Paul blimp.com the website has now been updated to accept donations for ‘advertising time’, and the blimp is set to launch December 10th from Elizabeth City, NC. Supporters are encouraged to attend the launch."

So what is to be believed??

Pledges were before, that is money that has come in to PAY the pledge.

Before those were just pledges, and there were about $500,000 worth of them. Now it's actually money collected.

Right. The $350,000 pledged was over the past few weeks before the details were ironed out, and the project just started taking actual contributions and fulfillments of those pledges today.
