People on Daily Paul say Ann Coulter just said on C-Span that she would vote for Ron Paul. Anybody have a video of this? I would not have expected that.

I didnt see it, but my guess would be she said something like "I would vote for Ron Paul, but....................... fill in the blank some excuse why she thinks he cant win"

Maybe im wrong, but I doubt it.

Ron Paul accepts any person for who they are. He does not necessarily agree with what they do with personal freedom. He believes in the right of every person to make that up for themselves. Even Ann Coulter.

I'm extremely skeptical.

If she said it, it was only because in her calculation, expressing an open-mindedness to considering voting for Ron Paul will result in more media appearances, increase sales of her hateful, ignorant books, and scheduling for paid speaking engagements and appearances.

Did she say, "I will be voting Ron Paul," or did she say, "I would consider voting for Ron Paul?" Or maybe, "I would vote for Ron Paul .... if Hell froze over?"

This makes NO sense. Most people know what a NUT she is! How can she be for RP when she stands for totally different things? People who do not know RP but know Ann, will automatically think RP stands for things she stands for. I'm really not believing her intentions are truly good, if this is what she really said. Unless she converted completely in the past 48 hours!

Obligatory: "YouTube or it never happened."

At the conservative conference months ago (where she made the "******" remark about John Edwards) when she was interviewed after her speech, she seemed to be most supportive of Romney and thought he had "the best chance of winning".

I believe she also said (at the same conference) something along the lines of "Any Republican is better than any Democrat", so she would probably justify such a statement that way, while not necessarily approving of all of RP's points.

Well, if she supports Dr. Paul now, then she is no longer a neoconservative and that is a very good thing...she could lead other neoconservatives to Dr. Paul's way of thinking...

I saw her say it. Don't get too excited. You have to put this kind of thing in context. She is still a warmongering neo-con.

She said something to the effect that she thinks the overall group of republican candidates is pretty lame. She is not too happy with Giuliani, Romney, or Thompson. She didn't sound too excited about Huck either. But she said any of the republicans would be better than any of the democrats. It is in this kind of context that she said she would even vote for Ron Paul over any of the democrats. I think it was hardly a compliment.

Peacemonger reporting... I watch C-Span so you don't have to.

Laura Ingraham loves Ron Paul...
Rush Limbaugh defends Ron Paul in a mention about the debate
Glen Beck is in tears with wanting RP to come on... Hes totally busted from being constantly outed during his book tour and he loves Pat Buchanan who loves Ron Paul..

Tell me THAT wasnt some kind of feeler to try and make peace.

So it's clear then.

She did not say that she will vote for Ron Paul.

She said that she would consider voting for Ron Paul, and considers Ron Paul to be better than some Democratic candidates.

We need to do a better job with rumors here. It's always "so and so endorses Ron Paul," and then we go and look at the facts and it's not the case at all.

Stop spreading unsubstantiated rumors! Or if you do, at least properly qualify them! Thanks :)

I heard Ann debate alongside Doug Casey and Susan Esterich from the New Orleans investment conference this year, and she actually did sound as if she would agree with most of what RP says.

One of the biggest areas of overlap was when she said she would like to see quite a few departments completely eliminated, and the DHS was one of the ones she listed.

So yeah, take away the WOT and I can definitely see her supporting RP, based on what she said at the debate.

Yeah she certainly did not endorse Ron Paul.

She said EVEN Ron Paul is better than the Democrats, and that she would vote for him.

At first I thought she was saying she would vote for Ron Paul out of the Republicans, but thats not what she said. :( It was driving me insane with them talking about having another Reagan, and here we are with someone EXACTLY like Reagan or as close as its going to get and they hate him passionately.

What do these people expect? The candidate to be named Reagan-2 or something?

Why don't they stop and think about what Reagan's views were, and then find out who's views are the same? Now thats a revolutionary thought!

She was down for the less spending and letting folks keep their cash, but she totally compared Ron Paul to Neville Chamberlain.

...Not a good thing at all. Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of the UK that figured if you merely appease Hitler, all would work out in the end.

That a bit of an overstatement - or were you kidding?

Why do people have to agree with us 100% in order for them to support Ron Paul? I don't think the campaign has any criterion for who can vote for him and not. If so, let me know where to find it and I'll discourage people from supporting him who match that description.

I'm glad our poll numbers are going up but it's not like Dr. Paul is the clear frontrunner. We can't be choosy.

Remember: Ron Paul needs 60M+ votes to become President.
