It strikes me that none of them have a clue as to what the word individual means.
Several times the phrase "we've got to bring America together" was used and yet all they see are different groups, rich, poor, brown, black and on and on.
Is it really such a difficult concept that if we view everyone as an individual first that were all in the same group?
I hope some day that race isn't used as a defining factor and that terms like "black and brown American" is replaced with "Americans who happen to be black or brown" and better still just "Americans".
