I am new here so please forgive me if this is not in the right section.
There are two wrestlers who are employed by World Wrestling Entertainment who have come out as Ron Paul supporters. Val Venis is a Canadian wrestler who is a relatively small name in the wrestling world but a wrestler named Kane is a main eventer and is known to back Ron Paul.
Now I do not know how many of us here are wrstling fans but professional wrestling in our modern day appeals to an amazingly wide demographic. This is no longer a show for young boys to be entertained by. The flagship program of WWE is a show called RAW which airs live from a different location at 9 p.m. (EST) on the USA network. At every broadcast there are hundreds of signs in the audience which can be seen throughout the broadcast by thousands in the arena and millions watching on television. On Tuesdays there are TV tapings for the shows Smackdown (which airs on CW on Fridays) and ECW which airs on Tuesday nights on Sci-Fi. Again, these tapings attract thousands to the arena and millions watching on TV where signs can be seen on screen at multiple times throughout the night.
This could be an amazing opportunity for millions of people to catch our message on television for free. Tickets are not that expensive and who knows, you might even get one of the folks employed by WWE (i.e. Kane or Venis) to acknowledge the signs on the air. You can see the schedule of live events at wwe.com and if you know someone in a meet-up group in or near a city they will be in than it may be worth passing the word.
