We are hoping Ron can make it to Boston on the 16th; I think he might not be available for launch day.

I agree, Ron Paul. North Carolina is a less than one hour flight from Washington DC. If not him, maybe Rand Paul.

doesn't a female have to christen a ship? i've never seen a man christen a ship. theres some pretty crazy regulations out there but im sure one isn't you have to be a female to christen. and we're all for being different, let ron do it. or carol. or both together.

You guys are right. It has to be a woman. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_naming_and_launching#American_ship_naming_and _launching
"In recent history, all U. S. Navy sponsors have been female."
Ron Paul will stand by and watch. Great shot for CNN

This really is a grassroots thing, Maybe it should be someone from the grassroots effort?

I wonder if it's even allowed to have someone from the official campaign be associated with the airship. That would rule out Ron & Carol, but also Rachel who (last time I heard) was working for the campaign.
That leaves Liv... hey... who's complaining... :p
