The latest poll from the Amash camp looks good.

Justin Amash (http://washingtonexaminer.com/section/justin-amash) appears to be safely situated to retain his congressional seat, according to a new internal poll showing the Michigan (http://washingtonexaminer.com/section/michigan) Republican holding a 22-point lead over his primary opponent.
The poll, conducted by Wenzel Strategies of 705 likely Republican voters in Amash’s district, found the libertarian-leaning incumbent leading the GOP establishment-preferred businessman Brian Ellis 56 percent to 34 percent, with 10 percent still undecided.
When likely voters who “lean” Republican are included in the poll, Amash continues to lead Ellis 58 percent to 36 percent, with 6 percent undecided.
The Wenzel poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Up from the last polls!

In early June 2014, Amash led Ellis 42 percent to 23 percent (http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2014/06/poll_rep_justin_amash_leads_pr.html), with 35 percent undecided, according to a poll from the Michigan Information and Research Service of 472 likely Republican voters. That poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.

FreedomWorks, a conservative advocacy group who endorsed and has supported Amash, released the results of its own commissioned poll (http://www.freedomworks.org/content/freedomworks-america-survey-shows-rep-justin-amash-30-mi-3-primary) on Thursday, May 29. It found Amash up with 53 percent to 23 percent on Ellis.

The last polls were not internal polls from Wenzel.

Creating apples to oranges creates a false narrative of a race that is widening, when there is no evidence of that.

The fact that Ellis has 34% in an INTERNAL poll is quite frightening, to be honest.
