Curious your thoughts on this... seems that an empire building/war ... welfare / communistic culture can only survive with a dishonest / fiat / rigged monetary system. Am I wrong?

no communism is a symptom of a dishonest money system.

As Mises pointed out the fatal flaw in communism/socialism is there's no way to price anything because it's just suppose to be provided. With no pricing mechanism there's no way to determine what the true cost of production is - thus, no one produces it as there's no way to even determine the incentive for doing so. Eventually horrible shortages develop as the government has to try and provide all of the free stuff they've promised for the people's labor. Because the government has no competition the quality of everything they do is terrible and ultimately flawed. Everyone remains equally poor and a black market develops to accurately price essentials and give people the incentive to work.
In a moneyless communist system what would the point of gold or silver even be? To me the only advantage is eventually the black market would have to exchange with something but i'm thinking in a truly communist system where everything is provided for because everyone would allegedly work to provide for the common good then how does gold even exist in a scenario like that?
I do not see a free market system with gold possible in a Communist country just like I do not see a Keynesian system without gold working in a Free country.

I guess for Capitalist Supporters you would try argue just how fair the Capitalist is while on the other hand it has being doing the opposite effect.

Totalitarian systems are not inherently dependent on poor money systems.
Using a bad currency is usually a tool of an extractive political class.
Cambodia didn't go to hell by debasing the currency, they went to hell by deliberately killing anyone that knew how to do anything.
Messing with the currency is for thieves pretending to be communists or capitalists.

In general, I think communism can exist with either honest money or fiat currency. The latter is guaranteed a financial collapse as EVERY fiat currency system has collapsed. Given the choice, I would just avoid communism altogether.
Our greatest threat is that damn near every money system in the current world is based on a fiat currency. When those Govts collapse, you can be damn well positive that they will blame the form of Govt and not the Fiat Currency as the cause of the collapse. Why? Fiat Currency is a means to enslave entire Governments, not just make the citizens Debt Slaves.
