Since we're having a tea party, I'd like to make a humble suggestion: all of the Meetup Groups "dump" tea (and other goods) at local food banks.
It'll be the middle of December so they're especially needed. A nationwide "Tea Drive" would certainly add to the press stories. We can all give that way (some of us have maxed out on our donation) by giving to the campaign, giving to the local food bank, and hopefully even a few of us volunteering at a local soup kitchen.
Yes, I'm blatantly stealing this idea from the SC group's "spamming" before Dr. Paul's event there.
