He described Cochran's "get-out-the-vote campaign" as "excellent," then talked about how he will face similar circumstances in Arizona and needs to work equally as hard if he runs again. "The key is you'd better pay attention, you'd better work hard, you'd better organize." He added, "And you'd better understand that there's a strong anti-Washington/anti-incumbency sentiment out there, which is justified and you've got your work cut out for you."

In another thread I jokingly suggested that this incident would be spun as affirmative action--making up for Jim Crow laws from over fifty years ago by allowing Mississippians of African descent to vote twice--once in each primary. Of course, that was a joke. Obviously they only voted once--in the Democratic primary--and someone else (who was likely white) cast their 'second vote'. Leave it to Senator Disingenuous from Arizona to try to use that spin.

Of course, McCain is conveniently forgetting to mention that they voted twice, and trying to claim they're Republicans when they're not. Or to put it another way, he's lying his fat ass off. But that's nothing new...
