Maybe they should look in mirror. Oh wait, they passed that point a long time ago when they started shooting puppies and jacking up grandma.

Notice they blame the woman's psychotic behavior on having not taken her meds. The truth is that the vast majority of people shouldn't be on those meds. They make matters worse. What she truly needs, is to enter rehab and get off the meds. So in essence, law enforcement is once again, being counterproductive.

would be less work to identify those NOT near the breaking point

Take every one of those tax-ticks in the video off the dole and odds are each one of them would fit the criteria they have set forth to detain others....

There would be no reason to identify those near the breaking point if there where no one pushing the limits to near the breaking point.

Six billion people.

Well except a while back I heard there were only seven nations on the world left without being part of the global controlled network of central banks. The list had Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya (http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/wow-that-was-fast-libyan-rebels-have-already-established-a-new-central-bank-of-libya) on it then. Now I think it is down to Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Cuba.

So there are a few countries left not getting looted of all of their everything but it's not like there isn't any pressure being placed on them from outside.

That was my first thought; is it just because they are going after people that they know don't have the money or mental state to fight back that allows this to happen or is it just that the state is to big to fight at all?

Well, they get the first punch, and that asset forfeiture kind of takes the wind out of you. You learn that in bully school.

my thinking exactly when I saw this. Department of Pre-crime basically in it's early stages and the officer in the video smiles and says she thinks she is PRE-VENTING crime.

They want us to focus on the people being pushed to the breaking point. Maybe we should instead be looking at those doing the pushing? Is this not, in and of itself, another "push"?

In every state if a cop has probable cause based on what he has witnessed - that you represent a danger to yourself or others due to a mental disorder, you will be taken in for a temporary commitment.

What this AZ law does is allow the cop to involuntarily commit you based on what others say they witnessed you do. Even if you appear normal to the cop and he never saw you do anything strange or threatening.

Got a neighbor or ex who does not like you? They just tell the cops you were making threats to others around the neighborhood and threatening suicide and the cops can arrest just based on that.

An absolute destruction of due process rights and a recipe for all sorts of false reports and loss of all sorts of rights you have to fight back for in court due to the involuntary commitment.

Conversion of Rights to Priviledges, where even getting fed up is a Crime.
