My arguments with Progressive Republicans (neo-cons) have started with "Ron Paul is a flaming left wing Lib!" --- It does not matter what Conservative issue I throw at them -- they say he is a left-wing commie. Why?

Many well intentioned RP supporters use the same rhetoric against to war as the LIBs. There is also a lot of talk about Legalizing drugs. We "sound" like left wing red-diaper doper babies... as Savage would say. get it? We must stop using left-wing rhetoric. RP is calling for an end to the WAR on Drugs and its unconstitutional legislation. He is NOT calling for legalizing drugs for use by the common folk like beer/alcohol --- he's only made comments in favor of medicinal use. His opinion stops there and leaves the rest up to the states...remember? We are pro-states Rights.Get it? Also I've noticed large numbers of RP supporters making snide comments about Christians on this forum, on youtube comments, and other website comment sections. Remember -- it was/is the Communist that want to kill religion-- they want to BE God. Through control and Power. So again we come off like Red doper diaper babies! Please... cool it with that kind of talk. Not to mention-- Huckabees website is only a CLICK AWAY! I could use "atheist" as an expletive, but I don't want to offend atheists..Get it? PS- without God, you have no rights. If government gives them to you, they can take them away. I should not be having to explain this to RP supporters, but it seems that some are woefully slow.(sorry for the rant, but it needed to be said)

I love the video as it is, but for a RP recruitment tool, I think the above post by Mastiff is right. At least for the progun/prowar/gunforum/probush type guy that thinks he's conservative, that I debate with.

"If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. -Reagan"

but it was a quote in writing so it may be harder to fit in

I just watched version B.

WOW. That is one of the most solid, intelligently assembled videos I've ever seen. Kudos on digging up some seriously relevant footage that I haven't seen before.

I have two suggestions:

1) The music is great, but way too loud relative to the other sound levels. Hard to hear any words.
2) The most important thing: Whatever you decide to go with, decide NOW, and release the final version ASAP, so we can all get behind promoting it, instead of having a dozen versions competing for attention.

yeah this is the kind of video that I was expecting (version B).

Some things to think about changing:
I think you can edit those couple of soldier photos out (about 2:39 into the video), for some reason it seems like it doesn't fit, it interrupts the video's pacing.
You could add more tags like "Reagan" and "Bush" to the video.
The text in the beginning seems to be on the screen too long.
You can turn the music down a little so we can hear the voices better.

agree 100%. great video, love the old bush, Cheney clips compared to Ron Paul. But people are sensitive to others using depressing emotional pulls to persuade - myself included.
