Cruz: Israel Strike Against Iran ‘Could Happen In A Matter Of Months’ (http://dailycaller.com/2014/06/10/cruz-israel-strike-against-iran-could-happen-in-a-matter-of-months/).

“In my view, here is what a responsible president would do,” Cruz, who is believed to be considering a 2016 presidential run, said. “A responsible president would stand up on the world stage and say, ‘Let me be clear: Under no circumstances will the nation of Iran be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons capability. We will impose crippling sanctions but they will either stop or we will stop them using all available means, including if necessary direct military force.’”

*gulp*

Cruz will never be president, I think we all can be confident in saying that. Dude is basically Satan incarnate to liberals, softens their perceptions of Rand just by comparison.

Israel has been "months away" from attacking Iran for years and years now and it has never happened, whatever dude.

Well direct military force shouldn't too hard considering we have bases lining their entire border like sharks circling and ready to strike.

Is that like Bachmann's prediction that Iran would nuke the US by the 2012 election?

The sooner Iran just gets it over with and tests a nuclear weapon and joins the club the better the world will be. Evidently that's the only way to get the US to stop prancing around fighting with you.

The comments on the daily caller are just hilarious. The NeoCons, Republicans are showing there true colors.

There is NO second chance for Israel. Netanyahu
will act in Israel's best interest, United States with them or not. Israel will go it alone, and they'll prevail.

Netanyahu will act in Israel's best interest, United States with them or not.

they'll prevail
Has Perry gone nuts like Sen John McCain or hasn't he learned anything from Iraq yet? i wonder what would it take for some of 1006 fools for them to learn that war mongering and going to war agaisnt a nation under false pretexts?

Our 'Dear Leader' will not back Israel but not surprised if he backs his MOOSLUM brothers in Iran !!
LOL just like how the Republicans wanted to arm the Syrian MOOSLUM brothers in Syria Right? thats not exception right?

Iran is always several weeks, or several months, away from having a nuclear bomb and Israel is always several weeks, or several months, away from attacking Iran.

This news is basically yawn-worthy.

Under divide n conquer doctrine, won't Israel be better off to support anti-Iran AlQaeda` linked groups like ISIS in Syria/Iraq instead of engaging in an overt war with Iran?
Cruz is simple minded.

Iran sends forces to Iraq as ISIS militants press forward, official says (http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/13/world/meast/iraq-violence/)

(CNN) -- Emboldened Sunni militants, backed by local tribal leaders, pushed toward Baghdad on Friday as Iran sent troops to fight alongside government forces. In Washington, increasingly nervous U.S. officials mulled their limited options to help slow the militants' advance.

Syria: The Strange US/Israel/Al-Qaeda Ménage à Trois

Daniel McAdams at 15:44 pm EDT on September 28, 2012

A little more than a week after the extremists linked to Al-Qaeda by our own US government set up and murdered Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that the United States would send an additional $45 million to the very same Al-Qaeda’s Syrian franchise.
Yes you read that right: The US is sending another $45 million to assist in Syria the same people it is fighting in Afghanistan and the same people who killed US Ambassador Chris Stevens in Libya.
Interestingly, the US, Israel (http://m.forward.com/articles/163169), and Al-Qaeda (http://www.dnaindia.com/world/report_al-qaeda-leader-urges-support-for-ousting-syria-s-assad_1740552) all agree that the rebels in Syria, many of whom are foreign jihadists, must succeed in overthrowing the Assad government. That is like an all-you-can-eat luncheon buffet in front of hungry conspiracy theorists.

They won't,, until the ruling religious leaders are removed and replaced (and that is unlikely)

They have stated opposition to weapons of mass destruction repeatedly,, and their entire arsenal is Defense based.

Attacking them would be incredibly stupid. But I expect someone eventually will.

And they were advocating attacking Iraq since what, '89?

The people of this country are not properly propagandized into accepting another war.

DOJ reportedly preparing criminal charges against Sen. Menendez

The Justice Department reportedly is preparing to charge New Jersey Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez with corruption counts over allegations he used his office to help a Democratic donor.
CNN and The New York Times reported Friday that the charges are being prepared. The FBI would not comment; Menendez' office also did not confirm that charges are forthcoming, other than to defend the senator's conduct.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach Makes Waves at AIPAC Conference (http://jpupdates.com/2015/03/03/rabbi-schmuley-makes-waves-aipac-conference-midst-israel/) March 3, 2015 8:00 PM

AIPAC chairman of the board Lee Rosenberg criticized the ad while introducing Rice’s speech at the conference.
On Monday afternoon, Boteach held an event on Capitol Hill with Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel and with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman was scheduled to be there as well, but backed out because of the ad.
“I cannot appear at a forum which was advertised using an unwarranted incendiary personal attack. I will be working with Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, and others, to create appropriate forums to focus on the danger posed by Iran,” Sherman said in a statement.
