The school grew a brain and decided to let it go, but thats when CPS picked it up. We will confiscate your kid and put him up for adoption if you don't put him on drugs and have him legally declared criminally insane, in which case, they get to destroy another family one way or the other. They weren't happy with the first shrinks decision that there was nothing wrong with the kid and demanded another battery of tests, effectively putting the kid in Double Jeopardy. Another "No-Win" situation?

Whats next? Will picking your nose in class be interpreted as putting a gun to your own head?

I hope there's a follow-up story. "Student's father knocks out teacher for harassing child." or maybe "Father saves son from government kidnapper."

Jeeze "Give us your son's blood and urine, or we will kidnap him." Why isn't there more of an outcry over this? 15 years ago I wished my school would burn down so I didn't have to go, if I said that shit now I'd be in juvenile Guantanamo

All of the best pencil twirlers I knew ended up in AP classes and Ivy League schools.

Why is it that kids inheritly know there is something terribly wrong with the System? Is it because adults no longer go to school or get treated the same way by those teachers as to why so many parents simply do not see it? Is it that parents dont see it, or do they not care as long as it isnt their kid? Do they think this is "normal"? Do they think that this is "acceptable"? Is it possibly my perceptions that are distorted, and this type of criminalizing everything is "good" for kids? Is it a result of weaponized poverty? Is it intentional? Is it unintentionally malevolent? Are the kids doing these things to themselves? Or could it be the Fathers of this once great country were absolutely correct in understanding that knowledge can be used to either free a society, or enslave it? Why do so many parents not even bother to question the system itself? Do they not think about the consequences of things like this? Are they indifferent? Are they paralyzed by apathy? What gives?

Where's the video of that school board meeting where a parent asks a question and gets kicked out?

Edit: related video. This one has a passage from the book that upset the guy so bad to begin with.

Yeah, ban Tom Sawyer because of use of the "N" word, but allow this?

That's not it but I was curious why there was porn literature obscuring the meeting. They make kids read this crap now?

Im fairly certain that it was the same video, I do remember it started in the middle of the vid and excluded a couple minutes of the beggining of the incident. Does it look the same if you fast forward a few minutes in?

Outrageous. Any word on whether CPS cited the dad as being a subversive member of a "militia" like the Oathkeepers?

"... and hopefully the state does the right thing ..."

But if it doesn't - what then? Will you just "play along" again ... ?

(And let's nevermind the fact that if the state were prone to doing the "right thing," none of this would be happening to begin with.)

Bootlickers are shocked when the boots they have been licking are pushing their head into the ground.

Shocked, shocked, they are.

In a plaintive voice: "Why are you doing this to me? I did everything you told me to do."

Half of america is insane and that half works for the government or defends it. They should be putting themselves on the "crazy" drugs and leave the children and the rest of us alone.

Did you notice, at the end of the video the cameraman made a point to show the father's camo shorts and then panned up to his head? Subliminal message?

And naturally, the fundamentally compliant father doesn't get the real messages here. Firstly, GTFO of NJ. But no, that's too much trouble, so I suppose which he may love his son, he does not love him quite that much. Secondly and minimally, get your child the hell out of the public schools.

I feel badly for the poor kid, but the parent not quite so much.

"But, but, but whyyyyy? Why should I have to give up all my comforts and leave?"

Which is actually a valid question when you think about it.

But that's all it is, a rhetorical question at this point.

Why would a Polish Jew leave Warsaw in 1938?
