Bomb Threats at Schools

I live in Bristol CT. Within the last week both Public High Schools have been evacuated, a Private High School, and several elementary schools. Just got another call a minute ago that a note was found taped to a wall and yet another school is being evacuated.

I wonder what the solution to this problem will be.

Kids scribbling notes of bomb threats in all cities everyday and massive searches and evacuations will surely lead to more power for government and less liberty for the individual.

Probably serious pat downs and scanners and dogs sniffing the students as they enter the facility.

This has been going on since I was in high school. Back in '04 we had back-to-back bomb threats at my school during finals week and they expelled the student who was caught making the phone calls, although I'm not sure if he was actually pressed with charges.

Yeah this has been going on since I went to school--the problem is, today, if this is a prank, you go to jail for a very long time. :(

demand far LESS from "our" government, and homeschool our kids
as necessary, for their own safety both in mind and maybe, body too.

Yes I remember this happening in the mid 1960's at high school but in the past week in Bristol every school has had a bomb threat. This is a town of 60k and like 6 bomb threats at different schools on a daily basis. Seems like an epidemic.

This is not something new that is now happening. It's been policy to evacuate in schools across the country for at least 20 years.
