In 2013, a story broke that agencies of the federal government(namely, DHS) had enlisted the services of Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. to provide "targets designed to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force scenarios that are not the norm during training...", and are "meant to help the transition for officers who are faced with these highly unusual targets for the first time."

If you have severe reading comprehension issues, or are just quite possibly the most naive person walking Earth, that flat out says that they are training to come for us. All of us. Violent arrests and outright executions of innocent Americans have only increased since these targets were released(and since taken off market).

Over 30 years ago at a high school football game there was a canine in a police car.

The dog would go berserk when a black person walked by, but not a white person. I'd image nowadays it is anyone not in a police uniform.

In 1996, a SWAT team in Fitchburg, Massachusetts (population 39,102) burned down an entire apartment complex with a flashbang they used during a drug raid. Six police officers were injured and 24 people were left homeless. Several officers were cited for bravery.

Yup. You can be damn sure that these things didn't just go away, they're just much more well hidden from the public now. The CEO of the company making them was probably promised a nice position in one of the alphabet soup agencies in the near future.
