Club for Growth is out with a new ad targeting vulnerable Sen. Mark Pryor (D., Ark.) by highlighting his support of President Obama’s health care law.
The ad begins by showing a clip of Obama, followed by a clip of Pryor stating a similar point, and is intermixed with a parrot saying, “keep your plan” and “you can keep it.”
The ad closes by having bird droppings splatter a New York Times front page from the day the law was passed.
The parrot featured in the ad is named “Harley” and he’s previously worked with Jay-Z and has appeared on Showtime’s show Dexter.
