Well, now we'll find out. I mean, Fabby did get more votes than Wray in the primary, so hopefully us folks on the internet sidelines will see if he could appeal to voters.

The results live. Fabby's not looking too hot right about now.

Who are the liberty candidates? How did they do?

Philip Eby and T.J Fabby were the best, they both lost. Konni Burton and Bob Hall are supposed to be good allies, they both won State Senate seat Primaries like Don Huffines did earlier this year, which is no small potatoes. Konni is running for Wendy Davis' old (now open) seat, she will presumably win. Texas only has 31 Senate seats. Ken Paxton won Attorney General, most all of us supported him. Matt Shaheen, an ally, won his State House race.

Wayne Christian lost Railroad Commissioner, most of us supported him. Ted Seago, and Stefani Carter (Stefani is an incumbent) both allies lost their races for State House seats.

Dan Patrick beat Dewhurst fo Lt. Gov, while most of us don't like Dan, it is good PR for the Tea Party. There are some other races I don't know enough to comment on at this point.

Ken Paxton (Attorney General), Sid Miller (Commissioner of Agriculture), Matt Shaheen (HD-66), Bob Hall (SD-02), Konni Burton (SD-10), John Ratcliffe (CD-04), and Will Hurd (CD-23) all won. Brian Babin (CD-36) had a perfect Campaign for Liberty survey, but Ben Stresuand had a perfect survey and was endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus and Tea Party Express.
