Twenty percent of Americans name unemployment or jobs as the most important problem facing the country in May, up from 14% who mentioned these issues in April. Dysfunctional government (19%) and the economy in general (17%) also rank among the top problems.

These three issues -- jobs, economy, and government -- have been at the top of the "most important problem" list since the beginning of the year. Mentions of government and politicians rose sharply to 33% in October amid the partial government shutdown, but have dipped back down.

Mentions of the environment as the most important problem have ticked up to 3% in May from an average of 1% over the past six months. The increase may be related to recent news coverage highlighting the negative effects of global warming and climate change on the environment.

But remember, its an Economic Recovery!

What defines Recovery is by Bull and Bear markets. Bull and Bear markets reflect Wall Street. And what is Wall Street? Typically, it is an Index, and MSM covers just one: New York Stock Exchange, or NYSE, but there are other Indexes as well. Dow Jones, NASDAQ, and many many others. If "Economic Recovery" was not defined by the Stock Market and was instead defined by how well Main Street was doing, we would have never shown any improvement since the crash in 2008. However, if we did, those figures would have been super manipulated as well. Yeah yeah, see this decline in number of people working and average household income? Yeah yeah, that decline means the economy is improving! Now let me clearly explain that those last two sentences are SARCASTIC so no one misinterprets my statements as conveying a meaning that is unintended. Point being, the Recovery is a complete and total fabrication based on one perspective of truth, that a very small group of people are making more money, and excludes the value of that money going through the floor, as well as those small percentage of profits are coming at the expense of the majority of people.
