Cops are scrambling to cover up.

The fact that they did not come right out and say "he had a weapon" and "we feared for our safety" indicates to me that Theye just flat out murdered this kid.

We'll probably learn eventually that this kid committed that most grave of offenses: Contempt of Cop.

California teen shot to death on side of highway during traffic stop

http://www.policestateusa.com/2014/adrian-parra/

SALTON CITY, CA — A teen on his way to go on a date was shot to death on the side of the highway during a traffic stop. Police have been vague with details and his family is demanding answers.

The incident occurred along Highway 86 on April 18th, just before 6:00 p.m. Imperial County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over 19-year-old Adrian Parra while he was on his way to take a girl out to enjoy dinner and a movie.

For reasons unclear, the traffic stop reached a point where deputies opened fire on Parra, and he was fatally wounded. Even weeks later, his family says that the department is being elusive with details. They would only say that the stop was for “vehicle code violations.” Parra was shot 3-4 times, his mother revealed.

“What happened, what went where they shot him so many times… why can’t they answer the question if there was a camera,” asked Maria Duenas, Parra’s mother to KMIR. But police have refused to speak about the incident because of an ongoing investigation.

Parra, of Mecca, California, was an honor roll student who graduated from high school last year, and was planning on attending college.

The 2 officers involved went on temporary paid leave, but have since returned to work, KMIR reported.

His mother, Maria Duenas, is requesting that any witnesses to the incident call her with information at 760-396-2114.

When you get down to it, any interaction at all with the police carries with it a possible death sentence.

It all depends on whether everything goes according to the script of how they think things should play out.

You do the least little thing "wrong", make a "furtive" movement, don't move, look at them, don't look at them, etc -- anything and everything is a potential cause for your death. It's all up to whatever they decide to do with you.

No, they probably suspected that he was smuggling something. You can't stop smugglers unless you keep a tight, clamped-down control on transportation avenues.

And no media attention, I did a quick search for news stories and couldn't find much of anything on this case. They aren't even having to work to cover this one up.

Anyone else a little shocked about the lack of any details? I mean, I know it is standard op to obfuscate as much as possible, but this is kind of chilling. The article basically says:

1. Honors student.
2. Going on a Date.
3. Tail light is out.
4. Kid is Murdered.
5. Cops take a couple week vacation and are back on the force.

I might be one sheep of a reader, but why this kid was shot might be an interesting way to go about investigating this story?

That's why you never call them.Except to report on Chinese traders. It's OK to shoot them to death. They're not real people.

All Mundanes are not considered to be real people either, in the eyes of cops.

Must be driving them nuts not being able to find anything in this kid's past to justify their actions....

Post flagged by NSA tech #***78***9****0***
Tech notes:
Like someone said above, he did have a penis, maybe we say we prevented a potential unwanted pregnancy, or rape even. Yeah.... rape .That one jabs at the emotions a little more(clicks away on keyboard pulling up teens history of porn watching to leak to the media, finds none then creates an entire history "profile" of teen being into whacked out sexual shit)

Scary thing is - it's all possible today. Yeah, I know. I got goosebumps too just now.

California teen shot to death on side of highway during traffic stop
Maybe they should just say, "the fatal shooting of a Michigan state trooper was 'at the forefront' of our minds."

It worked for this asshole: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?452323-MI-Recording-captures-traffic-stop-when-Michigan-State-Police-trooper-pulls-gun-on-woman

STURGIS, MI – The fatal shooting of a fellow trooper was "at the forefront" of Michigan State Police Trooper Timothy Wagner's mind last month when he pulled his handgun and pointed it at an 18-year-old woman during a traffic stop near Sturgis.
Granted, he didn't kill his victim. But so what? Subtle distinctions like that are pretty much lost on the copsucker crowd, anyway ...

[P]olice have refused to speak about the incident because of an ongoing investigation.
"pending" investigation ... "ongoing" investigation ... "closed" investigation ... they're covered no matter what.

They've always got a handy excuse for not breaking omertà ...

I mentioned this in another thread, here locally we had a police shooting that sounded justified according to the story that was put out initially . Then a few month's later the family of the man who was shot and killed found out that some information about the shooting was being withheld, with the local PD using the excuse that it was a "closed" investigation.

As far as I know that info has never been released, and the family would probably have to file a lawsuit to make that happen. So you are right, they are covered no matter what -- information that should be public record is considered an "internal matter" and thus none of our concern ("us" being the public these people are supposed to be serving, and the ones who pay their salaries and pensions).

On what basis were the cops returned to work if there is an "ongoing investigation"?

Will there ever be a father to seek personal justice against these fuckers? The news wouldn't be able to publish my comments if I were in that position. "Well, they killed my son. Hur-dur-dur. Guess I'll stick a thumb up my butt."
