Exactly. A 7MM mag would do just fine as well.

Also, consider that the RFP is for Level IIIA, without plates. That basically limits protection to handgun rounds. Anything other than that, and perhaps even some of the more exotic handgun rounds will blow through that armor.

So it looks like 7.62x54r 174 grain should work just fine unless they use Level IV.
