They should probably hold off until they can guarantee about ~10,000,000 folks showing up. The critical mass of change of 3%.

I can't even make up my mind about things like that. On one hand, it is very nice to see large numbers. On the other hand, there is a case to be made for starting small then continuing to grow.

It's sort of a shame that the US capital isn't somewhere in the middle of the country.

An event slated for Friday that promised to bring millions of Americans to Washington, D.C. to oust President Barack Obama and other key leaders from office failed incredibly.

Instead, “Operation American Spring” welcomed only a few dozen protesters — not the millions projected by event organizers — who braved the morning’s stormy weather to hit the streets of the nation’s capital and call for a change of leadership in key roles.

“It’s a very dismal turnout,” one participant from Texas, Jackie Milton, told the Washington Times.


“Will this be a cake-walk? No, it will be painful, and some people may die because the government will not be non-violent; some of us will end up in a cell, and some may be injured,” organizers warned. “If that’s what it will take to save our nation, do we have any choice?”

The group has not posted to Facebook, following the dismal turnout.

No deaths. No injuries. Not even a single arrest. Just a normal, quiet day on the National Mall.

last videos i saw there were several hundred,,perhaps a thousand. Well short of the Million.

And several different groups with varying hot button issues,, no cohesive plan beyond showing up till they are heard.

TPTB could care less,, If they become a problem they will be swatted,

I do not believe that peaceful protest will do any more than Occupy did. (which they are trying to copy)

People showed up, but not many. Here is one of the speakers, the former chair of the NHGOP. He was not happy. I don't blame him. 1,000s showed up at a gun freedom rally in CT that he spoke at. Yet, this event in DC only had 100s.

Heck, many times more people have watched this video than attended the event.
