In Crimea, which Russia annexed in March following a referendum, 93 percent of people surveyed expressed confidence in Putin and said Russia was playing a positive role on the peninsula. Their confidence in U.S. President Barack Obama, on the other hand, was recorded at a dismal 4 percent.

Respect =/= approve

Approval at 4% (and 4.5% on RPF) is still a lot better than nothing and it leaves a whole lot of room for improvement.

I'll even go so far to say that I hope Obama's approval numbers double
...just before Rand Paul is sworn in as the next POTUS!

The fact that 4.5% of RPF respects Obama saddens me.

Oh well, it's their respect to give, and mine not to.

Just wish that the US mirrored Crimea's approval of Obama. Then again, Congress isn't too far away from having only a 4% approval rating, yet they keep getting voted in.

I guess he won't be running for President there.
