View Full Version : California Cops Pull People Over, Give Them Ice Cream

Cissy

Getting pulled over is the worst. Usually.

But in a recent promotion for Wall's Ice Cream, a group of police officers in Quincy, California decided to give people a fresh experience with the cops.

Using their law-appointed power, the cops pulled over a few unsuspecting citizens and then fired a few questions at them.

After the innocents appeared to be nice and terrified, the officers retreated to their cars to get them a special treat that's much, much better than a ticket.

They've done this around here too. They would pull people order for "good driving" and reward them with a gift card.

While driving for his employer, Archway of Romulus, Les Zalewski of Lincoln Park was stopped by Romulus police Cpl. Derek Turner, who had verified Zalewski was driving under the speed limit.

“You’re probably wondering why I stopped you today,” Turner said as he explained the random acts program and presented Zalewski with a $10 Subway gift card.

“I knew I was doing the speed limit,” Zalewski said. “It was a pleasant surprise. It’s pretty nice of the police officers of Romulus to do that.”

It's one thing if they were just handing them out. It's quite another to pull someone over with no probable cause just to show how nice you are.

Yeah, I was thinking if I was running right on the nose for an appointment and some uniformed clown with a gun, stops me and walks up to my car and gives me an ice cream, it would take all my will power not to shove the ice cream right back in his face. WTH!? Did the cops receive payment from the ice cream place to promote their business on the tax payer's dime?

First question: When did this 'public service' become the Wall's Ice Cream Company Police Department? When will the officers start wearing Wall's logos on their uniforms? When will they start putting Wall's billboards on the cop cars?

Second question: What will happen to their DHS matching federal funds when Michelle Obama finds out they're promoting obesity? Will Quincy residents lose their Obamacare? Will members of the Wall's Police Dep--er, I mean QPD--defend them from the Obamacare Death Squads?

Third question: Have any lactose intolerant folks or strict vegans been tased or shot yet?

Someone being paid by your tax dollars, detains you with a gun on their hip, raises your blood pressure, while you're wondering how much food will be taken off your family's table from a citation for some unknown mickey mouse crime and him handing you an ice cream makes it OK? :)

Maybe that was the plan all along. Stop you and give you some ice cream and then when you drive away with one hand holding the wheel, pull you over for distracted driving.

Corporations taking advantage of the fact that you decide to be connected to the telephone network to bombard you with their propaganda isn't enough for you? Corporations taking advantage of the fact that you want to use the internet to bombard you with their propaganda isn't enough for you? Corporations taking advantage of the fact that you want to attend a sporting event to bombard you with their propaganda isn't enough for you? Corporations taking advantage of property owners who want billboard fees and bus companies that want billboard fees and homeless people willing to wear sandwich boards for a sandwich in order to bombard you with their propaganda as you walk down the street isn't enough for you? You want the authorities to use their power to detain you regardless of your will to force you to attend to corporate propaganda?

Not the worst thing that ever happened? No, it isn't. But I have no intention of being so blase' about it myself...

I'll laugh when or if they pull over someone who really does have something to hide and a pig ends up getting shot with cone in hand. As much as I hate the police, they should know better, as every stop is a potential threat to the officer.

There was some police chief in Wisconsin who seemed to always being trying something like this. The cock sucker set up "voluntary" roadblocks and gave away an ice cream coupon to people who went through. Think he also tried having a roadblock with two lanes. Motorists could "freely" pass in one lane, but encountered the Hitlers in the other lane.

There was also an occasion where Minnesota Hitlers set up "voluntary" roadblocks.

Ice cream probably laced with something so the cop 10 miles up the road can get them for DUI.

Illegal, cops need reasonable suspicion that you have committed, are committing, or are going to commit a crime to pull you over.

Now when they're beating you into the ground with their nightsticks, instead of "Stop Resisting!", they'll be yelling, "Brought to you by Wall's Ice Cream!" along with the appropriate company slogan.

It's not long before they get company logos on their hoods, too.

Wouldn't mind it?

If these cocksuckers have that much free time as to dick around, pulling people over to hand them ice cream I'd venture to say they ought get a real goddamn job.

I do not despise the crack smoking, food card scamming, Obama phone selling, eight child claiming, welfare whores as much I do those able to pull you over, detain your time, or impede your life's progress on their whims alone. Not to mention the countless lives destroyed by their cowardly mantra of "just doing my job."

Perfectly capable of doing something productive yet waste time and money on an incredible scale.

My knees are shot, and here these CRIMINALS (yes, they should be charged with a crime for that stunt) flaunt their supposed authority and flagrantly disgrace the public. I thought I've seen it all.

About time they just dropped the charade and had company cops. I only hope that they get ice cream blasters or something instead of firearms so the next time they want to put down a dog it just gets a sticky coat instead of a gun wound.
