That'd be wasteful.....

Do like the founding fathers did........

Throw tea. It's not going to kill anything, pollute, it's not littering, won't make a mess, and any negative criticism can be countered with "i bet the british said that after December 16th 1773 too".

Just an idea. I was going to put it in the other discussion about "throwing cash" off, which is the worst idea ever, but i couldn't find it.

NO.

We are throwing money into Ron Paul's campaign fund on the 16th and into the blimp fund now.

Do not through anything anywhere else. It is a waste of materials, time, and money.

Why would we throw something else anywhere???

Spend your time talking to people and getting his name out there with slimjims and such.

Not wasting money, time, and materials on something that will be deemed as stupid to the majority of the public.

Think in 3rd person perspectives. What would the average Person think if they saw us doing..."blank".

I would love to see a re-enactment of the tea party with actual tea bags. THat would get alot of press coverage. (not that the blimp itself wont)

What about setting yourself up somewhere you have access to a building, and serving tea and RP slimjims to passers-by? Much better use of tea than dumping it!! Worth it in cold states.

People love anything free. They will take the ad just to get the tea.

I'm not sure why this thread starts with: think like the founding fathers, don't be wasteful. what you you think throwing the tea into the harbor was?? it was the exact equivalent to throwing money in, as it was their goods to be sold to the british and was worth big bucks. tea was extremely valuable. thats exactly why it was so impactful.

nothing will be thrown from the blimp. i thought it was stated on the FAQs, but it must be somewhere else. something along the lines of "it is against company and FAA rules to throw any items from the blimp (except skydivers)

This is a better idea than throwing tea into the harbor. It may be fun, but it still costs money and isn't directly relevant to the campaign.

The tea was being imported into America to be sold to the American colony.
