In summary, I've learned that Nevada had no land when admitted into the Union during the civil war. Then it finally gained it through an act. Another act claimed all such land and gave allotments based on the ability to use water, however bundy had not been paying for 20 years.

In that time some prescriptive right might have been gained, because he was allowed to graze his cattle.

On the official front the senator's lawyer son seems have a deal with a Chinese solar company which creates a conflict of interest because the senator had a position with the BLM previously.

In addition it appears the BLM has a for profit status related to gold mining discovered through a Brad & Dunstreet account number and an individual official of BLM who operates out of an apartment in Nevada.

Yes, a convoluted legal situation at the least, but here's the link to the gold connection and info on the "for profit status" of the BLM.

Any who have links and more complete info for a slightly . . . slightly more detailed summary, please add them so that AT LEAST, the legal aspects are accounts for.
