You may be a highly paid, big-shot football player, but not to the TSA. Everyone is a mundane at their checkpoint.
Los Angeles police arrested San Francisco 49ers defensive end Aldon Smith at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday afternoon after he indicated he was in possession of a bomb.
Smith was booked Sunday afternoon, according to LAPD Sgt. Michael Fox.
...
According to Los Angeles police public information officer Karla Ortiz, the incident happened as the man later identified as Smith was going through Terminal 1 screening and was randomly selected for secondary screening.
Smith then became belligerent and uncooperative with the process and with the TSA agent, making a comment indicating that he was in possession of a bomb before proceeding toward the gate area, according to Ortiz.
Los Angeles Airport Police made contact with him at the gate and he then became uncooperative again and was detained and taken into custody by Airport Police.
Many people on the scene, including former Marine veteran Clayton Mullaly, captured the incident on video.

and he will be released to serve as a spokesman advising people that the TSA is a wonderful organization that we should all pay obeisance to and that he was suffering from a bad attitude and it has since been adjusted and it will never ever happen again.

And the ignorant masses cheer, because, clearly, a football player that challenges the TSA is just a dumb jock, and not somebody standing up for the rights they just don't want.

Might as well use Sigmund Freud's line (http://freudsbutcher.com/genealogy/freud-humor-the-importance-of-primary-sources/) about the Nazi Secret Police -- "I can most highly recommend the Gestapo TSA to everyone."

My brain says this is sarcasm, but the pit in my stomach suggests this is a very real possibility.

If other people can be arrested for joking about explosive weapons at places of public gatherings, why SWC plant was not sent to hen house after this joke?

Yes, if Americans continue to be dumbed down and participate in party politics.
Here is how to get rid of them and the crap they brought in.

Step by step.

They found these hidden in his underwear. Probably purchased at a non-Airport vendor, which is a felony.
