Very good video. I would rename it though, because a title like that will never come up in the searches if anyone's looking for it. "Ronald Regan, George Bush & Ron Paul" would be much better, or "Where have the Republicans Gone?" or something like that. You'll come up with something good. :)

That was nice, but it is somewhat taking what Reagan said, out of context. The part of this speech that really pertains to Paul is about our freedom and letting our country be run by the elite.

He must be freed so that he can do for us what he knows is best. And Senator Clark of Pennsylvania, another articulate spokesman, defines liberalism as "meeting the material needs of the masses through the full power of centralized government." Well, I for one resent it when a representative of the people refers to you and me--the free man and woman of this country--as "the masses." This is a term we haven't applied to ourselves in America. But beyond that, "the full power of centralized government"--this was the very thing the Founding Fathers sought to minimize. They knew that governments don't control things. A government can't control the economy without controlling people. And they know when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose. They also knew, those Founding Fathers, that outside of its legitimate functions, government does nothing as well or as economically as the private sector of the economy.

There are many other examples in this speech that align with Paul too.

I also agree there is room for somebody to make another one, contrasting paul's position on personal liberty with Regan's speech about "There is no left and right, only an up and down", that would be great to fuck up neo-cons with.

It isn't often that a video moves me to tears. This one did, however. For those killed, for those maimed and for our Nation as a whole. Ron Paul may well be our last hope for a peaceful solution.
